Mini-biography: Born & raised in a wonderful godly home with terrific parents and 2 brothers. Oldest brother, Lawrence, was killed in a car accident in England on New Years Day 1970. He had an amazing voice and played 12-string guitar extremely well. My other brother, Stu, lives in Burlington. I began singing solos at church around the age of 15. I spent my summers for many years at Elim Lodge (near Peterborough). When I joined the staff there and worked for 4 summers, I sang in the choir and was also part of a group we formed called “The Elim Gospel Echoes”. I met the Watchmen at Elim Lodge in 1969 and Tim’s father encouraged me to join the group since Rob Gowing was leaving. Brian Winger and I joined at the same time. The quartet has been an amazing part of my life and I can’t imagine my life without these wonderful friends. They’re more like brothers. We’ve travelled so many miles together and thank God for His blessing on the group. We are so looking forward to celebrating our 40th anniversary and what God will do during those 3 days as Steve sings and Ravi preaches the glorious gospel. Pray for this event. I have been happily married to the love of my life, Lois, for over 30 years and God has blessed us with 5 wonderful children, 2 great son-in-laws, two darling grand daughters and a first grand son expected around Christmas '07.
